Quick guide to installing soni SOFT-CLOSE
In order to benefit from all advantages of soni SOFT-CLOSE, correct installation of the material is important. Here is a short and easy step-by-step guide to preparation and installation.
1. Preparation: Make sure that the surface of your roller shutter where soni SOFT CLOSE is to be fixed is free of grease, oil, dust, solvents and other release agents.2. Measuring and cutting to size: Measure the bottom edge of your roller shutter and simply use a cutter knife to cut the soni SOFT-CLOSE strip to the right length.
3. Fixation: Start at the outer edge of the roller shutter. Gradually remove the white backing paper from the impact protection strip and apply soni SOFT-CLOSE along the entire length of the bottom edge, pressing it firmly into place.
4. Optimization: For optimum results, also fix a small strip of soni SOFT-CLOSE on top of each of the stoppers. This will dampen the roller shutter’s impact when raised.
